Check your setup first.

Install Telethryve Desktop.
Download your package
After purchase, keep the download/purchase token somewhere private. Download the macOS or Windows package from the confirmation or update page.
Run the included installer
On Mac, open the disk image or archive and follow its installation instructions; use Install Telethryve.command when included. On Windows, extract the archive and run install.bat. Review the user agreement and setup prompts.
Let setup finish
Setup prepares dependencies and prompts for relevant configuration. Local AI also needs Ollama and a model download. The time required depends on your computer and connection.
Choose local or hosted AI
Use the included local Terminal launcher on a supported Mac, or configure your supported provider account. Follow the package’s instructions for the chosen route.
Try a small sample project.
Create a folder with a few non-sensitive notes. Open Telethryve in that project and ask:
“Read these notes and create an action plan with the next three steps.”
Open the saved file and check the result. Then try a follow-up using the same project. See our recorded example.
Optional: connect your phone.
Review mobile availability and access terms first. Open the Desktop pairing window, supply the customer email when requested, and generate or show the QR code. Scan it in the companion app and check the connection.
Keep the computer running, awake, and connected. Never send a pairing or purchase token to anyone who should not have access.
If setup needs attention.
A tool cannot access an app
Confirm the app is installed and signed in, then review the operating-system permissions needed for that specific workflow.
The phone cannot connect
Check that Desktop is running, the computer is connected, and mobile access and pairing details match.
