# Telethryve App Control Commands

App control is the high-trust local desktop posture. Turn it on only when the
task needs local app automation, browser work, app connectors, screenshots, or
guided login. While it is on, future turns use the local app-control harness
with broader local access, automatic approvals, and network enabled until you
turn app control off or switch profiles.

Use `/apps` or `show apps` to re-check which app connectors are visible and
ready before asking Telethryve to control a local app.

## Turn App Control Off

## Safety Notes

- On macOS, grant Accessibility and Automation to the app running Telethryve or
Codex in System Settings > Privacy & Security before relying on app control.
- Keep API keys, passwords, one-time codes, passkeys, approval secrets, and
private credentials out of ordinary chat text.
- Use `app control status` before sensitive work and `app control off` when the
high-trust posture is no longer needed.
