AxleVision Privacy Policy

Last updated July 5, 2026.

AxleVision is a local-first camera, recording, and on-device object detection app. CharlesMorgan Software Seattle does not require an account and does not operate an AxleVision service that receives the user's camera video, detections, credentials, or recordings.

Information Processed On The Device

How Information Is Used

Camera frames are used for display, on-device detection, and user-initiated recording. Detection results are advisory. AxleVision does not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, profiling, or sale to data brokers.

Network Connections And Third Parties

AxleVision may connect directly to cameras on the user's local network and to public-source websites the user selects. Those camera vendors and public websites may have their own privacy policies. Apple system features such as notifications, Siri, widgets, TestFlight, and CarPlay are governed by Apple's policies. AxleVision does not transmit camera credentials to its publisher.

Retention, Sharing, And Deletion

Recordings, sessions, detections, imported lists, and preferences remain on the device until the user deletes them or a user-selected retention rule removes them. A video or session leaves the device only when the user explicitly shares or exports it. Removing the app deletes its local data subject to the platform's normal backup and deletion behavior.

Tracking And Analytics

AxleVision contains no third-party advertising SDK, performs no cross-app tracking, and declares no collected data in its Apple privacy manifest.
